Thomas Gosnell

Chief Executive Officer
Thomas Gosnell is the chief executive officer of Nelson Global Products, headquartered in Stoughton, WI.  The firm is a portfolio company of Wind Point Partners, a private equity firm headquartered in Chicago, Ill.

Nelson Global Products successfully operates today as a strong product development and validation manufacturer and supplier with significant market and application knowledge.  Nelson Global Products (NGP) works collaboratively with its customers to optimize product performance to exceed expectations for product reliability, durability, costs and availability. Its breadth of products -- combined with global manufacturing capabilities -- provides customers with integrated systems solutions. 

He is a 35 year veteran management leader in the commercial vehicle industry, most recently as a senior executive with Rockwell Automotive and ArvinMeritor.  He joined Rockwell in 1979 and his most recent position was president of ArvinMeritor’s Commercial Vehicle Systems business.

Gosnell holds a bachelor's degree in pre-law from Denison University, in Granville, Ohio, and a master's degree in business from Xavier University, in Cincinnati, Ohio.

He serves on the board of directors of Phillips Industries, and on the board of governors of the Heavy Duty Manufacturers Association.  He has previously served on the boards of HDA Truck Pride, and the Heavy Duty Business Forum.

  • 1979-2006 Rockwell Automotive / Meritor / ArvinMeritor (all same company) – served as President of Commercial Vehicle Systems Group from 2000-2006 – designed and manufactured drive train and undercarriage systems and components for the On & Off Highway CV industry (including axles, brakes, drivelines, transmissions, clutches, suspensions, exhaust solutions, and aftermarket). ~ 30 global locations and $4.5 billion annual sales – retired 2006

Kris Radhakrishnan

Chief Financial Officer
Kris Radhakrishnan has significant experience as a finance executive with medium to large global companies both public and private equity owned and operating in multiple industries.  Some of his prior experiences include CFO, American Achievement Corporation, CFO, Resolution Specialty Material, and CFO, Celanese Chemicals.  He has a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) from University of Madras, India and an MBA from Northern Illinois University and is also a CPA.

Sergio L. Carvalho

President -On Highway Business and President of South America Operations
With over 37 years of experience in the heavy commercial vehicle markets, Sergio L. Carvalho is the President of the On-Highway Division as well as President of South America and China Business’. During his career he has successfully managed global business’ on the truck, bus, trailer, off-highway and military market segments and was a board member of several companies in N. America, S. America, Europe and Asia. 

Prior to joining Nelson, Carvalho’ s served as President and CEO of AXN Heavy Duty, President and CEO of Fuwa Heavy Industries, President of Sypris Technologies, and Vice-President and General Manager of several divisions for Rockwell Automotive, ArvinMeritor and Meritor.

Carvalho holds a bachelor's degree in Physics from the Sao Paulo University, Sao Paulo, Brazil.

Christopher Ober

President Off-Highway Business and China Operations
Christopher Ober serves as the President of the three Peoria area companies, Morton Industries LLC, Bradley Services, Inc., and Peoria Tube Forming Corp.

Mr. Ober joined the company in 2008 as President of Morton Industries.  Shortly after, he became part of an ownership group that purchased Morton Industries in 2009 and Bradley Services in 2010 where he continued to serve as President and COO.  In 2011, he participated in the sale of Morton Industries and Bradley Services to Nelson Global Products, Inc. and added Peoria Tube Forming Corp. to his list of responsibilities as President.

Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Ober held the positions of Plant Manager at The Brown Corporation of America’s Ionia, Michigan and Edgerton, Ohio facilities and Lacks Enterprises in Grand Rapids, Michigan.  He also served as Operations Manager of Benteler Automotive in Kalamazoo, Michigan; Production Manager of Ogihara America Corporation in Howell, Michigan and Birmingham, Alabama; and Area Manager at Detroit Diesel Corporation in Detroit, Michigan. 

Mr. Ober has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan Technological University.

Jim Shear

President – Outdoor Power Equipment
Jim Shear is President of Outdoor Power Equipment Unit which addresses the powersports, commercial turf, and stationary power generation markets. Jim was a founding partner of Water Works Manufacturing. LLC., which was recently acquired by Nelson Global Products. Water Works was founded in 2003 as a specialty fabricator that focused on the hydroforming market for non-automotive applications. Jim has over 25 years of experience in the steel fabrication business with extensive focus in developing new applications utilizing advanced metal forming technology. Jim earned his B.A. in Economics from Carleton College.

Robb Bass, General Manager, Interlaken Technology, is a founding member of Water Works Manufacturing, LLC, focused on developing advanced forming processes.  He has more than 23 years working in manufacturing, including diverse areas such as engineering, operations, quality, and materials management. Robb has developed products and processes in the medical device, HVAC, robotics, plumbing, and power sports industries. He holds a business management degree from Bethel University and is a US Navy veteran.

Doug Dole

Vice President, Operations
With over 25 years’ experience in the commercial truck market, Doug Dole is Vice President of Operations for Nelson Global Products. Previously, Dole served as senior director of ArvinMeritor’s Aftermarket - Asia Pacific. During his career at ArvinMeritor, he held a variety of management and supervisory positions in operations.  Dole holds a bachelor’s degree from Kettering University (formerly GMI) and a master’s degree from Xavier University.

Joseph Freeman

Vice President, Human Resources
Joe Freeman is Vice President of Human Resources for Nelson Global Products. He is responsible for providing strategic direction and focus in the areas of leadership, development, compensation, benefits, labor relations and, corporate human resources systems, and policies and practices. Previously, Freeman held management positions in both human resources and operations including: human resources director for a commercial/casualty insurance company; president of a sports marketing commercial printing operation; operations director for a commercial book printing operation, and management levels in human resources with ArvinMeritor’s Commercial Vehicle Systems.  Freeman has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Kentucky and a master’s degree from Western Kentucky University. He is an Army veteran where he successfully completed Airborne School, Ranger School, Rotary-Winged Aviation School and Air Assault School and served as a combat aviator with the 101st Air Assault Division.

Sue Vanderbilt

Vice President Business Integration and Information Technology
Sue Vanderbilt serves as the Director of Business Integration for Nelson Global Products. Previously, she worked for 18 years for a large diesel engine manufacturer in several different areas of finance and Six Sigma. She is a certified Master Black Belt, Black Belt, and Sponsor. She has been the recipient of multiple awards including the Six Sigma Quality Chairman's Award and the Functional Excellence Award. Vanderbilt holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.

Robb Bass

General Manager, Interlaken Technology
Robb Bass, General Manager, Interlaken Technology, is a founding member of Water Works Manufacturing, LLC, focused on developing advanced forming processes.  He has more than 23 years working in manufacturing, including diverse areas such as engineering, operations, quality, and materials management. Robb has developed products and processes in the medical device, HVAC, robotics, plumbing, and power sports industries. He holds a business management degree from Bethel University and is a US Navy veteran.

Kevin Stokstad

Senior Director – Product Management – Exhaust & Emissions
Kevin Stokstad serves as Senior Director Product Management for Exhaust and Emissions for Nelson Global Products.  He has over 16 years of OEM sales experience with Nelson Industries and Cummins, serving in various external customer facing, marketing and project management roles including OEM customer service coordinator, OEM account manager, OEM sales manager, Six Sigma Black Belt, global director exhaust marketing and customer support excellence, Director OEM sales and General Manager Outdoor Power Equipment markets.  He holds a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Management Information Systems (MIS) and emphasis in Entrepreneurship from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh and a master’s degree (MBA) from Edgewood College.

Rob Schellin

Director of Engineering
As the Director of Engineering for Nelson Global Products, Schellin is dedicated to supporting his team of Project, Development, Design, and Customer Engineers in developing and integrating the products that Nelson's customers need today and in the future. Previously, he lead the development of exhaust aftertreatment design activities for a large diesel engine manufacturer. His background also includes roles in manufacturing engineering, operations, and purchasing. Schellin is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Jackie Eisele

Director Procurement
Jackie Eisele is the company’s Director of Purchasing – which includes identifying key vendor partners, negotiating the optimum contracts and procurements, and the broad supply chain. She is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin – LaCrosse. Prior to joining Nelson, she served as a manager in the supply chain department for Cummins Emissions in finance with Cummins Filtration. A natiove of Wisconsin, Eisele has grown in responsibilities with the company for over 15 years.
